Mutu is a place to rent almost anything, anywhere, anytime. Here at Mutu, we're big advocates for choosing access over ownership, so we've built a peer-to-peer rental marketplace app that allows you to rent and lend almost anything from people in your community. From kayaks and cameras to powertools and sewing machines... you name it, we rent it (with some exceptions, of course).

LEND WITH MUTU
We all own things that could be of value to someone nearby and with Mutu you can make money lending your gear, knowing that your items are protected through the Mutu Guarantee. List the things you hardly use and provide people in your community with a more sustainable alternative to buying. So, head into your garage or dive into your cupboards and decide what gear you're going to list on Mutu.

- List your item with photos, a description, pricing and location.
- Receive, manage and approve rental requests.
- Use our in-app chat to arrange a time and place to exchange the item with the renter.
- Get paid via our secure payment portal instead of having to deal with cash or bank transfers.
- Leave a review for the renter via a 1-5 star rating with the option for a comment.

With Mutu accessing the things you need will be cheaper, more flexible and easier on the planet. You'll no longer need to buy and store things you don't use regularly. Rent them on Mutu instead, by browsing 1000s of items at the touch of a button.

- Search for an item you need based on location, availability and budget.
- Book and pay to secure the item for the rental period.
- Use our in-app chat to arrange a time and place to receive the item from the lender.
- Enjoy using the item for the duration of your rental period.
- Return it to the lender in the same condition you received it.
- Leave a review for the lender via a 1-5 star rating with the option for a comment.

MUTU GUARANTEE
As a lender, we understand that you may have some concerns about the safety of your things when lending them to others. The Mutu Guarantee ensures that you and your items are safe when they are being rented on our platform. If something unexpectedly goes wrong and your items are damaged, broken or stolen we will reimburse you up to the value of $1,500 (conditions apply).

MUTU SAFETY
The safety of the Mutu community is of utmost importance to us. To make Mutu as safe as possible, all of our users will go through our verification process before using the app's features. We also have a review system which allows Mutu users to provide a 1-5 star rating on their rental experience, building confidence and trust and helping users to make decisions about who to rent from and lend to.
