A hospital can provide custom content for the app which means that hospital can be found using GPS via the Location in the menus.
The app's guide includes the sections:

Staying well
The My Recovery section of the app allows patients to set a feeling via four emoticons, add an event, and make a comment. The events includes, for example, "No pain today", "I've taken a shower", "I slept well last night", etc.
Our Mission
We want to help patients during their stay in hospital. This app can save staff and volunteers time and improve patient experience and outcomes.
Our History
Personal Care Packs Ltd, PCP, is a social enterprise and trading subsidiary of the charity Giving World in the UK.
PCP has been supplying customised patient care packs to UK NHS and private hospitals for over 10 years. The packs include items that improve patients comfort, dignity and the overall care experience and often include a paper welcome guide.
The My Hospital Care app has been developed through user feedback from patients, carers and hospital staff, from the idea that the welcome guide could be electronic and that a smartphone app would provide more value than a paper guide could.
