My Mind Matters Therapy Memory

In pursuit of our memory mission we strive to elevate individuals' language, attention, and memory skills, empowering them to fulfill their potential. We believe that by enhancing these essential cognitive abilities, we enable individuals to engage more fully in their lives and communities. Our memory therapy has 4 main categories including hear and recall, retrieve and recall, conversation recall and name recall. Each category offers games targeting various skills, with four levels of difficulty ensuring suitability for all ages and cognitive abilities.

Hear and Recall:
Users engage in auditory and visual tasks across four difficulty levels, listening and viewing words, colours, pictures, or numbers, then selecting images in the precise sequence. This activity integrates recognition and recall, catering to various ages and conditions like receptive language disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Retrieve and Recall:
In the Naming Pictures game, users match names to pictures or identify pictures among options, tackling increasing vocabulary complexity. The Opposites and Associations game expands vocabulary, while the Word Descriptions game enhances language and sentence comprehension. Word Definitions prompt users to define words, gradually increasing complexity. Designed for individuals with word-finding challenges, this category aids in effective lexicon organization and retrieval. Retrieve and Recall improves short-term memory, attention, and processing speed, particularly benefiting aging adults, those with dementia, or individuals recovering from stroke or brain injuries.

Conversation Recall:
Users immerse themselves in diverse conversations, selecting from over 500 topics relevant to their needs, whether retaining classroom information, honing auditory processing, or interpreting phone conversations. They listen carefully, then answer questions based on what they heard. With four difficulty levels, this game caters to individuals of all ages and cognitive abilities. It enhances auditory comprehension, language understanding, auditory processing, and working memory skills, aiding those with language comprehension difficulties or cognitive deficits. Additionally, it offers second language learners a platform for English comprehension practice.

Name Recall:
Name Recall focuses on remembering faces and names, enhancing visual memory and social cognition. Users observe and memorize faces and names, then recall them from memory. This game benefits adults with aging, dementia, stroke, or related brain injuries, as well as children and teenagers struggling with name and face recall. Autistic individuals can also improve their social cognition, attention, and sensory processing through this game.
