My Pool Plan

Do you own or maintain a swimming pool? Are you frustrated with expensive, confusing and conflicting advice from the pool store? If so, you're not alone, and this app is for you. This licensed version of the Orenda Calculator® has the same Orenda features, but taken a step further with a personalized touch, catered specifically to you and your pool. No more guessing where your chemistry should be. We've got you covered, and it's all based on YOUR pool. Nobody else's.

How? It starts with a quick survey about your pool. The more questions you answer (including pool volume, surface type, length of season, etc.), the more precise and personalized this calculator will be. And yes, it's free.

The process goes like this:
1. Create an account on personalizedpool.com, verify your email, and answer the questionnaire about your pool.
2. Login to the app with the same verified email, and your questionnaire results are automatically imported into the app for you.
3. Each week, test your water and input the chemistry values on the left side of the calculator (just like in the Orenda® app).
4. Our system will automatically populate dosing targets for your pool, based on the time of season, temperature, and current chemistry.
5. Press "calculate" at the bottom, and we will provide exact dosing instructions for how to get from where your water is to where it should be. And we deliver these instructions in the order they should be done, with how-to videos and step-by-step instructions. Just follow the plan.

Most pool chemistry advice is given by companies who would love for you to come back to the store and buy more. We, however, help you streamline pool chemistry by focusing instead on removing contaminants and aligning with physics, per the Orenda® philosophy. 

For the chemicals, you will still need to buy the commodity products locally: chlorine, pH and alkalinity adjusters, calcium, and cyanuric acid (stabilizer). Following our plan, you still need these products, just less of them. For everything else, the questionnaire identifies the KIT your pool needs, and we ship that kit directly to your door each season. No algaecides, synthetic polymers or conflicting chemicals. Our kits include a curated selection of Orenda products, sized for your pool and length of season. Nothing more, nothing less.
