MYGC

My Golf Club (MyGC) is a club-based golf app designed to enhance club life.

Each golf club that joins MyGC can customize the app by making a custom club layer. Users can choose to switch to a selected club layer, where the modules selected by the club will appear within the app. A club has the option to have two different modes for its club layer, each with distinct modules: one designed for non-members and another tailored specifically for members of the club.

Some examples of modules that can be included in a club’s custom layer are News, Scorecard, Rules (the local rules of the golf club in your pocket & Link to R&A rules of golf), Challenges (participate and compete in different social competitions), Sponsors (view sponsors and member benefits), Homepage (link to the club's official website), Ladder (participate and compete in a club ladder), Feedback (member feedback with description and the position tagged), Pictures (share and view photos from club events and competitions) and Links (access to golf-related sites).

If no club layer is selected the app includes three modules by default:

News: Users can select which clubs and channels they want to receive news from. The news module lists all news from the channels selected in “Manage News Channels”. A Club can send targeted information exclusively to members.

Scorecard: This is a user-friendly digital scorecard where users can select courses set up by connected golf clubs or imported from a course database. Players can easily invite others to join the scorecard, allowing all participants to input scores during the round and view statistics and standings. Players without the app can also be added to the scorecard. If two or more players are included in a scorecard, features within “My Group” are available including a selection of social games. These games, which vary depending on the number of players, include “Skins Game,” “Match Play,” and “Split Sixes (Köpenhamnare).” In “Hub,” users can connect multiple scorecards to create a “United Group Game,” generating a shared leaderboard for all players from the connected scorecards. A link to the leaderboard can be copied and accessed via any web browser, making it ideal for display on screens in clubhouses or sharing with non-playing spectators who wish to follow the game.

Settings: In the “My Account” section users can, in addition to various personal settings, enter their unique “Member Identification Key” provided by their club to verify membership and connect to their club as a trusted member. In "Settings" you can also make different customization of personal settings, such as selecting modules and managing notifications from connected clubs and news channels. Additional settings include managing club connections, club layers, and other app preferences.
