NagaNews is a daily digest of news of the Government of Nagaland.
The iOS app will give access to daily news, government advertisements regarding recruitment, welfare schemes etc., a photo gallery, Contact details of important officials etc.
We are incorporating social media sharing options and push messages to inform our users of important news. We are also incorporating a QR Reader which will direct the user to news articles regarding specific topics and departments.
Nagaland being remotely located, internet connectivity is not great in many places and using this app with caching and offline storage will definitely help our users refer to items in such locations.
Future upgrades in the pipeline include automatic support for Hindi and incorporating a citizen journalism component to receive photos and news from our users through the app.
