NappyValleyNet.com is a online community aimed at mums in two local areas. Founded in Wandsworth & Clapham the site has expanded to give Richmond, Twickenham and Teddigton its own separate local online community for mums.

The purpose of NappyValleyNet is to connect mums with other mums, their communities and local businesses in the area. Whilst it delivers to mums by giving them a guide to what's on, activities & childcare as well as the ability to chat online enabling them to seek and share recommendations of the areas that touch their lives.

For businesses NVN is a place for them to connect with these mums and to harness the power of word of mouth recommendation. They have the ability to put themselves forefront of mums' minds through postings and promotions as well as advertising and partnering NVN in competitions and events.

What's unique about NVN is that it is entirely focussed on bringing together mums interested in the very best of local.

With more and more locals mums contributing recommendations, it's living proof that, in an increasingly connected world, mums trust nothing more than the advice of other mums. So-called ''Power Mums'' which represent nearly 20 percent of the active online population, are wielding more influence than ever. As well as shopping online, many socialise to find out about local goings on.
