National RAC Summit

The RAC Summit App provides access to presentations, reference material, agendas and speaker bios from the National RAC Summit. The online material is updated and provides access and interaction with information valuable to RAC Liaisons, clinicians, compliance officers and others.

The "recovery audit contracting" (RAC) program is undergoing major changes. The RAC Summit App provides an online interaction with the National Medicare RAC Summit and Boot Camp to help you stay abreast of the changing RAC landscape.

Healthcare providers can learn how a RAC audit works, learn best practices on documentation, certification, rounding, physician education and appeal strategies and how to prepare for an audit.

RAC was designed as a way of assuring that proper payments are being made for Medicare services. In the new RAC model, contractors are incentivized with contingency fees to find improper overpayments (and underpayments) to providers of Medicare services.

The RAC PA-UR Team Boot Camp is designed as a very practical, hands-on, highly interactive experience for hospital leaders and managers.
