Typically, if a pilot is based at a small airport and wishes to fly a practice ILS approach, he must fly 20+ minutes from his home field to do so. The NavMaster APP allows this pilot to practice an ILS approach right at his home field or at no field at all. WARNING!!! FOR VFR Flight ONLY!!! If using view-restricting device, Safety Pilot is Mandatory!!!

If your airplane does not meet ADS-B qualifications, you will still be able to practice precision approaches to any uncontrolled airfield. NavMaster’s performance will be based on the accuracy of your GPS. Any WAAS GPS that connects to your Phone/iPad via bluetooth will produce superior results. If you can place your iPhone/iPad in a position so that it can see at least 4 satellites and you can still see the screen while using a view-limiting device, then you don’t need an additional GPS.
