Nearbi is the ultimate FREE app that helps connect with your immediate neighbors where you can offer products and services to people located within walking distance.
With help from Nearbi, users have the option to set their neighborhood boundary radius to a maximum of 150 meters from their home location (maximum of 5 minute walking distance). By limiting the boundary of the local marketplace, you will not receive messages or have to go through listings from spammers. That’s because all members you see on the Nearbi app will have to be physically from your area in order to set their home location and neighborhood boundary.
Inside the app, you can browse through all of your neighbors’ listings or you can add categories as favorites. That means if there are any new posts or listings in your favorite categories, they will be shown at the top. This way, you will not miss on any great bargains listed by your neighbors. It is also possible to manually extend the search radius to up to 300 meters if you don’t mind a bit longer walk to pick up offered items.
Our app includes the following categories:
1) Buy/Sell - Get rid of unwanted items from your home/apartment or garage, and earn some extra money.
2) Free Stuff - Give away things for free if you don’t need them anymore and just want to get rid of them.
3) Urgent Help - Ask for help from your neighbors. This can be anything from printing to faxing, moving, borrowing some tools etc.
4) Services - Offer services like tuition, music, personal training, dog walk, babysitting and many others to people in your neighborhood!
5) Lost & Found – This is the right category where you can post for anything lost and found and help other people find the items they lost.
6) Social - Connect with your neighbors for any activities like biking, walking, playing cards, form same language groups etc.
7) Other - Looking for or offering something that falls not in any of the above categories? Post it on Others.
