P. Diddy was actually born Sean John Combs on November 4, 1969 in Harlem, New York. During his high school years, due to his habit of puffing out his chest to make his body seemed bigger, he earned the nickname "puffy". Majored in business administration at Howard University. Later he took internship at Uptown Records and was recruited as a talent director before reaching the position of vice president. Successfully recruiting mainstream artists, he decided to leave the company and established his own record label Bad Boy Records in 1993. He released his debut album No Way Out in 1997, which has been certified seven times platinum and was followed by successful albums such as Forever (1999), The Saga Continues... (2001) and Press Play (2006). In 2009 Combs formed the musical group Diddy – Dirty Money and released the critically well-reviewed and commercially successful album Last Train to Paris (2010).
