What is it about?
NgweBike App is a social registry platform for all entitled pregnant women to register electronically with all required information and documents for receiving one off cash assistance by the pregnant women. This program is funded by Government of Myanmar and app is owned by Department of Social Welfare, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in Myanmar. UNICEF commissioned the digital platform by contracting with developer. In this program, pregnant women will be receiving cash assistance by choosing one of the four different transfer modalities; (1) cash transfer directly to bank account, (2) cash transfer through bank with Name and ID number, (3) cash transfer through mobile agent and (4) physical cash payment (person to person).
