NHK ONE for School

This is the official iPhone / iPad app to access “NHK ONE for School”, the educational video service for schools offered by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation).
If you already have a receiver contract, you can start using this app immediately without an additional contract or charge.

With user-friendly UI, you can easily watch educational videos created by NHK at home or school, in various subjects including Japanese, math, science, social studies, English, physical education, music, and more.

[Functions]
■ Search:
You can search through about 8,000 videos using any keyword. With refined search, you can select different conditions such as school years or subjects, and easily find the video you want.

■ Programs:
You can also select videos from the programs list. There are many popular programs from NHK E distributed, too.

■ Playlists:
You can make your own playlist and switch the order of the videos. You can also share your playlists with your friends and teachers.

To use the app, internet connection is required. Please use in an area with good internet connection. Please not that data charges and mobile phone fees are the responsibility of the user.
This service is not available outside of Japan.
