The Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases (NMD) at University College London Hospital developed this platform in partnership with the social enterprise Bridges Self-Management, which is an expert in evidence-based approaches to co-production and self-management support.

Neuromuscular disease is an umbrella term for many different conditions such as:
Myotonic Dystrophy, Motor Neuron Disease, Kennedy’s Disease, Myositis, Muscular Dystrophy, Glycogen Storage Diseases, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Charcot-Marie-Tooth, Disease, CMT, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and Neuromuscular disease.

This app combines peer support and professional advice and can be used on its own as a self-help tool or as an adjunct to rehabilitation sessions with a professional.
