No Time to Speed gives you calm, timely safety reminders near **San Francisco** speed-camera corridors—no navigation app required. The goal is simple: help you drive safely and avoid unintentional speeding in camera zones.

What it does
• Background safety alerts for **San Francisco** speed-camera locations
• Gentle notifications when you’re approaching a camera and when your speed exceeds the posted limit
• Battery-smart design: location runs at low power until you’re close to a camera, then checks speed briefly and stops
• Clear controls: pause or resume background alerts anytime

How it works (in plain English)
• The app keeps a small set of nearby camera zones ready in the background
• When you enter one, it briefly checks your speed against the posted limit for that location
• If you’re over the threshold, you get a discreet reminder to slow down
• Cooldowns prevent repeat pings and notification spam

Coverage (launch)
• San Francisco, CA only at launch. We’ll add more cities over time (starting with NYC, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia) and will update this description as coverage expands.

Privacy & control
• Designed for on-device safety checks
• We do NOT store turn-by-turn trip histories
• You can disable background alerts at any time in the app or iOS Settings

Location permissions
• Works best with **Always Allow** and **Precise Location** enabled so alerts can work even when you’re not using a navigation app
• You’ll see the iOS background-location indicator when monitoring is active

Notes & reminders
• Alerts are informational safety reminders—obey all signs, signals, and local laws
• Location accuracy can vary in tunnels or dense urban areas
• Force-quitting the app may temporarily limit some background behaviors until you reopen it
