App Store Description
The Notifire App uses Mobile messaging technology to deliver one way instruction and guidance from Fire Rescue Service (FRS) to building occupants in the event of emergency.
Building owners and the FRS must register to use the system. FRS Emergency Key Responsible Person (EKRP), likely to be the Chief Fire Officer, must register the local FRS and nominate relevant responsible officers for each Fire Station. Building Owners must register their relevant building stock and associated building managers as Approved Persons.
In the event of an emergency response Fire Officers will be able to use the App to locate the relevant registered building, access building occupancy details and building plans. Once they are informed and familiar with the building and occupant details they may use the App to message residents as appropriate. Fire Officers may select from a collection of pre-prepared messages or create bespoke ones as appropriate.
Approved Persons will be able to send routine messages to residents via the App e.g. Fire Safety Advice, Maintenance shutdowns, power outages, etc.
