App Store Description

The O2gO2 phone app is a very simple, easy to use, oxygen energy management tool. This application converts oxygen cylinder pressure into time remaining otherwise referred to as duration. This is the information that any user of a compressed gas needs to, or wants to know and that is...”how much time is left before the user is out of gas”. Time is the universal metric that everyone understands.

There are three required inputs that are necessary to use this app and they are the size of the oxygen tank in cubic feet, the existing bottle pressure and the flow rate. Once these variables are inserted a time remaining will appear in the green display window mounted above the tank.

A multicolored strip will also be displayed on the tank. This indicates visually the amount of oxygen that is left in the tank based on the PSI remaining. When the PSI remaining equals approximately 45 minutes of time remaining, the strip will begin to show yellow at the bottom of the display cylinder and when there is approximately 15 minutes of time remaining the display will turn to red, cautioning the user to replace the cylinder with a full one.

Since there is no physical connection between the app and the oxygen cylinder, this calculation serves only as a mathematical “snapshot” as to the amount of oxygen left in the system based on the entered flow rate. After approximately 10 minutes of counting down the time remaining, the time windows will disappear and in its place will re-appear a keyboard and a blank oxygen pressure window forcing the user to insert a new pressure. The tank size will assume that you have not changed oxygen tank sizes as long as the user has not disconnected from the app. If the user has disconnected from the app, the oxygen tank size will have to be entered again as well.

The O2gO2 provides a universal metric understood most people. This technology will begin to shape the way the world will manage its energy resources thru time management. The O2gO2 is just one of many smart tools created by Aeronautical Data Systems Inc. , so look for others in the near future.
