What is it about?

Open Dynamic Interaction Network (ODIN) is a cost-effective mobile platform for social and behavioral research. ODIN embraces a new paradigm for scientific exploration, moving beyond simple surveys, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), and experience sampling (ESM). ODIN supports collecting and analyzing continuous and contextualized individual and interpersonal data. Using ODIN, social science can extend beyond static snapshots of individual/social life, yielding new insights by analyzing high dimensional data streams collected from study participants over long timescales. ODIN was developed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with the support of the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
