Once upon a time… there was the Goodnight Story is a collection of eight original fairy tales in rhyme and prose for children of preschool age. The work has been carried out with the collaboration of Dr Gisella De Feo, development psychologist, an expert in the use of fairy tales in clinical practice and in play-therapy laboratories.

the narrative voice in English is that of the actor Clive Riche who interprets each story with the warm tones which characterize the tradition of oral storytelling;

the animated images proceed with the narration without ever substituting it to leave space for the childrens’ imagination and curiosity;

the tales, the characters, the designs and the music are all original;

the sound-effects have been carefully chosen, preferring, where possible, natural and not synthetic sounds;

the graphics are accurate, and the technology simple and intuitive;

the closing nursery rhyme, followed by the goodnight message of the main character, was conceived to be recited together with the children, if desired, as a possible last act to the “bed-time ritual”.
