OT Sensory Screener

The OT Sensory Screener is a pre-referral screening tool designed to assist teachers and therapists in identifying behaviors that may be linked to a student’s sensory processing. It can be used to quickly provide sensory strategies based on observable behavior, helping improve students’ ability to participate in school activities.

Information from the OT Sensory Screener can guide targeted pre-referral interventions, such as Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) strategies.

Each behavior page offers insights into how students may process and integrate sensory information, along with practical sensory strategies to help improve readiness for learning and participation.

Links to printable resources, including data tracking sheets, are also available.
