Otter Camera Lite

Otter Camera is a simple application for iPad and iPhone that allows you to turn your phone or iPad into a live streaming video camera to support multi-camera shoots with the Otter Director application.

The phone acts as the video camera and streams live video over cell networks to the Director application. You need a decent cell signal for a consistent live stream, although the Director application will detect the quality of your phone signal and make adjustments to keep your inbound stream looking good.

The application is simple – just accept a shoot invitation in the notifications area of the Camera app, and press the big red button to make your camera live.

The applications for Director are many: live concerts, sporting events, corporate events, conferences, intercompany video communication.

Cameras can be on-site or remote – all they need is a good cell connection – a couple bars.
