Ouicycle

Ouicycle is an app that helps find a new home for the things people no longer want or need. Whether seen on the street by a passerby or still in its original home, Ouicycle allows users to quickly post something they think may be of interest to the entire community, near or far.
Every item that finds a new home is one less item that goes into a landfill. Canada is one of the worst waste-producing countries in the world. Montreal has committed to diverting 85% of waste away from landfills and Ouicycle was created to help in that effort, but we won’t stop at the borders of the island. Ouicycle is designed to make it easier for every community to recycle more than what can fit into a blue bin.
As much as we care about the environment and reducing waste, we care equally about privacy limiting access to personal information. People who only want to add photos of items they see in the street do not need to sign up for an account. Those who do sign up have what little information is necessary for an account fully protected.
