Paint With Sand

Paint With Sand lets you paint the world around you with multicoloured grains of sand, then shake, swipe, blow or suck them around your screen to create unique pieces of art.

EVERY PIXEL MOVES
Spray down up to 3 million grains of sand and let gravity take effect or swipe your finger through the sand to push, blow or suck the grains around the screen.

FIVE USER DEFINABLE TOOLS
Create sand by spray painting it over a large area or draw a solid line with a focused pen tool.

Blow or suck thousands of grains around the screen using your finger as a sand storm or use it to swipe your name into the sand.

Thin the sand out using a wide-angled erase tool or carve shapes into it using a thin-angled erasing brush.

Every tool can be adjusted using sliders to get exactly the size and intensity you want or you can choose from a variety of pre-set options.

FIX GRAVITY JUST AS YOU WANT IT
Need to change the angle of the camera to grab an image, but still want the sand to flow in the same direction? One button press will keep gravity moving as you want it (or not at all) whilst you get the sand the way you like.

FREEZE YOUR GRAINS
At any time you can freeze the sand in place, then carry on creating new sand that will flow around it. Let gravity create multicoloured stalagmites of sand at the bottom of your screen, then freeze them in place before upending your device and creating stalactites above them.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT MISTAKES
With multiple save slots, undo / redo buttons and saving the images onto your camera roll, you can try out ideas without accidentally ruining your amazing artwork.
