Here's an app that makes it a breeze to save and share your coffee-tasting adventures.

Create Taste Cards with Palate. Palate uses a standardized lexicon of terminology to describe coffee flavors. Just choose the category, then pick what you taste, and you're halfway there. Once you've identified the specific taste of the coffee blend you're drinking, you can type in the name of the blend, who makes it, where it was made, and how it was processed. Once you've done all of that, Palate makes an awesome snapshot card that you can share with others.

Share Your Palate Taste Cards with Others. Once you've created your taste card in Palate, it's easy to share it with others or save it to your Photo Library. Just tap the right button, and you're off. You can share with Facebook, Twitter, email, or numerous other methods. This makes Palate one of the easiest apps not only for identifying the coffee you love, but sharing it with others.

What is it about?

Palate is one of the most comprehensive coffee tasting apps available. When you open the app, it presents you with a cornucopia of various taste categories to choose from. Once you pick one, the selections are refined to offer you the most commonly found tastes in that category. Then you can pick one, identify what you've tasted, and fill out a few forms to identify what that particular blend of coffee is, who makes it, where it comes from, and how it was processed. It uses taste-testing standards found in the World Coffee Research's Sensory Lexicon, so the language used is common across the globe.

Why we love it

I love sweet coffees, especially those with plenty of flavor and not too much bitterness. Describing my tastes in coffee has always been a challenge, but Palate takes away all of the barriers to letting folks know exactly what flavors of coffee I've tried and loved. I can quickly and easily create a taste card for my favorite coffee flavors, and then share them with Twitter, Facebook, email, or plenty of other ways.
