Pantry Countdown

I needed an app that could track the hundreds of items around the house that can be used up - household essentials, pantry goods, and other random things you don't think to check on until you run out. I don't like paying full price at the last minute and would rather plan in advance so I could take advantage of sales and discounts.

I also want to keep my data completely private. So no ads, no tracking, no selling data.

The other apps on the store that do something similar were too slow, or only allowed photo uploads, or were constantly upselling in-app purchases. Not for me. I can code, so I created something I wanted to use, and now I want to share it. For free.

It's simple. Just type in the name of the thing you want to track, and how many days you think you have until it runs out. The app automatically counts down the days and categorizes them by how much time is left.

I use Pantry Countdown every day, and its probably the one "news update" that actually matters in my daily life - forget the national news, am I really about to run out of tissue paper? I'm pretty motivated to keep improving the app and plan on updating it at least bi-weekly with bug fixes and more advanced improvements like machine learning and fancy graphs. Start counting down!
