App Store Description

If you have forgotten exactly where you parked in a mall or other parking lot--and can never remember to press the "save my spot" button on other parking place apps--then Parking Place is for you! Once launched (for example, at the beginning of a day of shopping, or before work, etc.) the app will run--foreground or background--and remember where you parked, all without you having to remember yourself!

It has taken a good deal of development and testing to get Parking Place to work just right, but you can now have the benefits of our hard work in the palm of your hand. Any iPhone (or iPod Touch or iPad with GPS built in) will work with this app. Just launch the app before you head out, and when you come out to the parking place, and can't remember exactly where you parked, simply bring Parking Place back up, and follow the easy to read 'compass' arrow to where the red pin marks your parking place. Simple, easy, and works even when you don't remember to save your place! (of course if you wish to, you can always press the "save my place" button to save your place exactly where you wish).

Some notes: First, version 1.0 doesn't do height, so it can't yet tell you what floor you're on if you are in a parking garage. Second, as with all GPS apps, Parking Place will put some drain on your battery. We have worked hard to minimize this effect, but in order to function, Parking Place has to know where it is on a consistent basis, and that requires some battery usage.
