If your pet is lost you can mark it inside the app as Lost, and make your profile searchable by other users that might have found your pet and searched for your microchip. If someone is searching your pet microchip , your profile with contact details will be display so you can be contacted :)
Important : your profile details will not be searchable on the app until you mark one of your pets as Lost
