PD-Aware

A research study for people with Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers that integrates the Health app.
Do you have Parkinson's Disease, or are you the caregiver of someone with PD and interested in participating in a research study? Then this study is for you!

You can participate if you:
have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease or are the caregiver of someone diagnosed,
are 18 years or older,
speak English,
own a smartphone,
are willing to take part in this study that requires you to use mobile health technology for 6 weeks,
are willing to take a Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE)?

You can not participate if you:
have a major acute medical illness (in the past 6 months) (e.g. heart attack, stroke, alcoholic rehab),
have been disabled by a major psychiatric disorder in the past 6 months (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder)?
