People Make Places is a digital guide to Tokyo that finds wonderful people worth meeting, as well as just places worth seeing. It’s updated monthly, so residents as well as tourists will find it useful.

We focus on the people — not just the places —because more often than not, they’re what you remember the most.

Our app introduces dozens of shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and other cool places — and profiles the people behind them, alongside beautiful photos we took ourselves.

The app is designed to browse for inspiration like a magazine; but it’s also practical: the Location Info section has a map, a local’s tips on how and when to go, and a Taxi Card with the address written in large-font Japanese to show your cab driver.
