PepTown

PepTown is a smartphone-based fundraising solution for high school sports teams.

The PepTown mobile app provides fans with live scores, rosters, schedules, photos, and more. This information is provided by boosters, people who want to support the team by volunteering to enter and update the content. PepTown's friendly interface makes this simple.

Anyone can sponsor the team by adding a message that is shown in the app for fans to see. Commercial sponsors are typically local businesses that want to show their support while gaining visibility in the community. Personal sponsor messages ("Good luck Joey, we love you!") allow friends and family to give a "shout-out" of public encouragement.

Sponsors can pay any amount they want. Messages are shown in rotation, each one getting time in proportion to the amount paid, with business and personal handled separately. The school gets 90% of funds from sponsors.
