App Store Description

LEARN VIA SYNESTHESIA.
Train to gain the coveted ability of perfect pitch through synesthetic associations. Perfect Pitch is designed to capitalize on both your implicit and explicit color-tone associations.

SENSORY PERFECT PITCH.
Absolute pitch, the ability to identify and re-create musical notes without a reference tone, may be developed and enhanced by associating pitches with other sensory stimulations, such as color and haptic feedback (specialized device vibrations).
Based on cognitive psychology, Perfect Pitch allows you to associate haptics & custom colors with each musical pitch and train yourself using songs, creating a cross-sensory experience known as synesthesia.

FEATURES THAT GUIDE MASTERY.
• Play pitches & songs while associated colors illuminate
• Train using fifteen built-in melodies, songs, & scales
• Colors and pitches are presented in the Circle of Fifths
• Choose custom color associations that feel right to YOU
• Soft haptics for natural notes; rigid haptics for sharps/flats
• Playback Settings allow training modifications for each song
• Organize the set & order of songs to practice from the Library

DEVELOPED AT GEORGIA TECH.
Perfect Pitch was originally developed by students at the Georgia Institute of Technology while working with ubiquitous computing researchers. However, this app is not affiliated with the Institute.
