Personal Audio Studio

As a writer, I wanted a simple audio platform I could use to record my own novels as audio books. Being one who stumbles over his words a lot, I wanted to be able to edit as I went along, because editing and post-production is daunting and time-consuming. But there was no such app. I had to write it myself.

How this app works:

Create a new recording, or resume a previous recording.

Record only short segments, like one or two sentences at a time.

Then play back the segment to make sure you are happy with it.

If the segment is okay, press the Commit button. The segment is now part of your recording!

If you made a mistake or there is any other problem with the segment, press the Discard button. Record your segment again.

Repeat the process as often as necessary until you have recorded the segment exactly as you want it.

A segment never gets added to your recording until you press Commit.

This is how you edit as you go, and end up with a perfect recording!

If you are recording a long work such as an audio book, it is best to divide your work up so the recordings are not too large. Try a chapter per recording.

When your recording is complete, you can export it to any location supported by your device.

It couldn't be much simpler to create a finished recording!
