PharmSurance

This is the first pharmacy app and is designed only for licensed pharmacists and pharmacy interns.
Within this app, users have access to a suite of tools designed to support practice. Below are various tools available to make information retrieval easier than ever before:
User Collaboration: Our user collaboration center is equipped with a few tools designed to allow communication with other users to make information retrieval easier. This section consists of our pharmacy forums and emessage systems.
Forums: As a user, you’ll have access to the clinical forums where you’ll be able to post or look up information that were posted by other users. Through this application, users can look up information posted by other users regarding a new guideline update or about a new medication or any other questions as it relates to pharmacy practice.
Emessage: This program will allow users to communicate privately to another user.

Tools: Our tools center will allow users to utilize applications while providing consultations or for test preparation. These tools consist of drug interactions, IV compatibility, recall list, medication database, lab references, sig code information, and test banks.
IV Compatibility: Our IV compatibility system will allow user to see interactions between two different IV medications.
Drug Interactions: Drug interaction checker system will allow users to see which drugs react with other drugs and the side effects of two drugs when taken together.
Recall List: Users can review medications that have been recalled through our updated list sourced out of fda.gov.
Medication Database: Users can utilize the medication database to look up more information on a particular medication.
Lab References: This provides resources for users when assessing lab results for patients and in providing clinical recommendations regarding treatment.
ISMP Sig Code Reference: Sourced from Institute of Safe Medication Practices, users can use the sig code list to look up the sig code for understanding prescription directions.
Test Bank: Test bank is a way to assess informational knowledge as a way to review for exams in pharmacy school or for board exams.

Resources: With continual changes in guidelines, medications, and standards of practice, our practice resources are designed to allow users to refresh information that is being learned while in school, for the boards or as a way to review while in practice. Users will have access to concepts pertaining to compounding, pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, special topics, vaccinations, medicational chemistry, biostatistics, pharmacoeconomics and vancomycin dosing and much more.

As a user, administrator, owner, and pharmacist, I hope this app help improve healthcare systems in the pharmacy realm and make lives easier for pharmacy interns and pharmacists worldwide.
