Phonics Town 1: ABC

Making phonics easy and fun. The free version is limited to the first few letters. The rest can be unlocked for a very reasonable price :)

This app introduces and helps children learn the basic sounds of the alphabet.

Each letter is introduced and practiced with nice simple matching, searching, puzzle and listening games. Previously learnt letters are reviewed often to help children remember them.

After finishing this app, children will be well on their way to knowing how to:

•Recognize the shapes of all the letters
•Match upper and lower case pairs
•Find a letter from the sound it makes
•Select the letter that a word begins with
•Choose a picture that begins with a letter
•Choose a picture that begins with a sound they hear
