When in landscape (recording mode) a red circle icon with a dot will appear on the top left screen to indicate your screen is currently being recorded. The recorded video can only be saved to your photo album and edited by the user. After saving the video, trim (edit) your video: dimensions (height and width) and the length to remove the menu area.
