App Store Description
Photo Ear-Pro is an advertising-free app which allows you to control the full-resolution, 5-megapixel rear camera on your iPhone 4 using voice commands.
Photo Ear-Pro responds to the following commands:
"Photo" - Take photo
"Flash Yes" - Flash for every picture
"Flash No" - Do not flash
"Flash Auto" - Camera determines whether or not to flash
"Torch" - toggles the torch on and off
How many times have you ruined a low-light shot because you couldn't hold your iPhone 4 steady during exposure? Now, you can keep two hands on the camera or, if you mount it securely, take photos as you set the scene without having to worry about camera shake at all. There's no self-timer. There isn't even a shutter button!
Focus area may be set by tapping the screen, and is denoted by a blue box. Red bars will appear at the edges of the screen to indicate an automatic exposure adjustment.
Advanced shooters: For partial metering, double-tap the screen. To reset metering, triple-tap the screen.
***Text messages (SMS) and push notifications will display SILENTLY when Photo Ear-Pro is listening for your voice input. Once a text or push notification is received, speech recognition will be shut down until you acknowledge the text or push notification. If your iPhone falls asleep while running Photo Ear-Pro, speech recognition will automatically shut down, allowing you to receive texts and push notifications with their usual alert tones. Phone calls will arrive with their normal ring tones whether or not speech recognition is active.
Notes: Photo Ear-Pro may need a couple of seconds to process your speech and carry out your voice commands. Photo Ear-Pro does not write full Exif data, but it does include the time and date an image was taken. The speech recognition performance of Photo Ear-Pro will degrade significantly in locations with high ambient noise (especially music). Use of an external microphone *may* help recognition under high-noise conditions. Photo Ear-Pro uses the CMU Pocketsphinx library and Politepix's OpenEars to handle speech processing. The situation depicted in the app screenshot is simulated to better demonstrate the visual cues a user may encounter.
