Piatto

Piatto is the food ordering app of the future! Allowing you to browse nearby cafés and restaurants, peruse their menus and place an order before you even get there! Pre-select the items you wish to order, then when you’re finished making your selections, choose “Submit Upon Approach” or “Submit Once Seated”. Submit Upon Approach allows you to have that pre-selection submitted automatically to the café/restaurant ‘Upon’ your ‘Approach’. Select the exact distance from the café/restaurant, so when you cross that marker, your order will be automatically submitted or just accept the default of 200m. Submit Once Seated means the pre-selection will remain on your phone until you actually arrive at the café/restaurant and scan the QR code closest to the place where you wish to receive your meal/beverage, be it a random position, a table, a tree or the front entrance. The order will not be submitted until you cross that distance or scan that QR code. This makes for a wiser consumer, peruse menus before you sit down at the café/restaurant, maybe there’s a better place around the corner. What exactly do you want to order, make your mind up before you get there, place your order before you get there, have it ready almost as soon as you get there!

As a user focused app, Piatto is for the user! Piatto remembers your previous orders, understands and presents your favourites from your favourite places, for the fastest/easiest re-ordering of your favourites. Piatto, thanks to the powerful engine provided by Stripe, gives the user the option to remember a credit card, so it can quickly and easily be re-used to order future items BUT this is of-course completely up to the user! No more sitting down, scanning a QR code, going to or downloading another random app/website, trying to work it out, trying to peruse the menu, selecting the dishes you want, maybe losing all those selections because you put your phone down for a minute, having to do it all again before you get to the end where you have to input your credit card number, again and again and again! Not with Piatto, peruse any menu from this one app, make your selections, place your order whenever you want. Closed the app, phone runs out of battery, you lose it? No sweat! Get your friend’s phone / plug your phone in / re-open the app, log-in, go to your user profile screen, your order is there waiting for you, to submit Whatever, Whenever, from Wherever possible!
