Learn how to use adjectives to describe different objects, by sequencing the visuals of the different components of the sentence (i.e. the 'object' and the 'adjective').

When shown object and asked to 'Describe this object' or 'Tell me about this object', the child must select each part of the sentence and correctly sequence them to form the targeted sentence. The child can then say the sentence in sequence with the audio or by himself/herself.

This application was written and developed by Australian Speech Pathologist, Alana Noakes, to fill a gap within the iPad application market for comprehensive and research-based early language development applications.

Learn adjectives, and how to describe common objective using these targeted adjectives in the following levels:

Describing an object using one adjective:
Level 1: Colours
Level 2a: Size (i.e. big and small)
Level 2b: Size (i.e. tall and short)
Level 2c: Size (i.e. long and short)
Level 3: Shapes (i.e. square, round, rectangular)
Level 4: Patterns (i.e. stripy and spotty)
Level 5: Material (i.e. wooden, glass, metal and plastic)
Level 6a: Feel (i.e. soft and hard)
Level 6b: Feel (i.e. rough, smooth, slimy and spiky)
Level 7: Temperature (i.e. hot and cold)
Level 8: Taste (i.e. salty, sour, spicy and sweet)

Describing an object using two adjectives:

Level 1b: Size (i.e. tall, long and short) and Colour
Level 2: Patterns (i.e. stripy and spotty)

The child's progress can be measured over time using the integrated scoring system.
