The short films are a calm alternative to the commonly overstimulating offers for young children, approved by media educators. They contain specifically composed music islands and gentle animations. They are narrated by well-known actresses and actors, among them for example Sissi Perlinger, Jochen Busse, Helmut Zierl, Sarah Kuttner, Marek Erhardt, Michael Lott, Stephan Schwartz and Rainer Hunold.
In this HD edition for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, even the selection of the films is an experience in itself: the characters slide around on the shelf and thus, more and more of the popular princesses, pirates, tigers, bears, ravens, elephants, rabbits etc. make an appearance. pikcha.tv - content-rich picturebook entertainment on the go.
“The picturebook channel pikcha.tv is convincing in many ways. The educational concept offers a careful first look into the world of moving pictures. The playful access to the picturebooks (and it's low costs) allow a new look onto popular picturebooks on a high literary level to all families.”
