What is it about?
Pin Me App can track multiple devices at the same time. You can create a group and share a link to your friends and family via SMS or email to join your group without registering or entering personal information. It is using Location Manager which is the most efficient way of sending location coordinates in the background from an IOS device. Near real time location updates are sent (up to 15 seconds interval) by the device when the app is running in the foreground. When the app is running in the background, IOS will decide on when to send the location update of the device. Except for the location coordinates, no personal identifiable information or device specific information is sent to the cloud. Location update information is encrypted using a stream symmetric encryption and only devices that are member of a group can decrypt and read the location updates. Currently, there is a maximum of 50 devices that can join per group.
