App Store Description

“Pineapple Pie” is a 120-day journey to help people with their weight maintenance. It is intended especially for people with eating disorders, people who struggle with dieting, excessive workouts, and who experience abnormal stress or discomfort about body image.

“Pineapple Pie” aims to alleviate suffering and overcome their struggles with weight and image, help them develop healthier eating habits, and eventually build higher self-esteem and self-worth.

The 120-day journey is divided into 4 stages, each has its own tasks, features, and instructions that can be unlocked as you follow along the journey.

With “Pineapple Pie”, you will:
- select how full you are after each meal;
- highlight the badges if you “exercise”, “binge eating”, “feel good”, “stop when you’re full” (stage3), and “leave the last bite to the next meal” (stage4).
- write down how you feel and what you’ve eaten for the day in diary space & easily access them on home page
- receive daily motivational quotes to inspire your day;
- view habit trends/insights in the past 7 days;
- see the the consecutive days you haven’t been binge eating;

“Pineapple Pie” not only helps people with their weight maintenance and weight loss, but prevents people from holding negative thoughts and perception about themselves associated with eating disorder (e.g. shame, guilty, and attempt to compensate after bingeing). It encourages them to take a moment from the obsession of “dieting” and “losing weight”, and take their time to restore their hunger and fullness cues, redefine what eating “really feels”, and what food really means to them. It is an app that can help your manage their body weights, but at the end of the day, it is all about helping you live healthier and happier lives.
