PixelMath

PixelMath is a Math Learning and Practice App designed to make maths practice as fun and engaging as games.


PixelMath borrows several design principles from Game Design, Learning Sciences and Positive Psychology to positively impact how students approach and practice maths. It promotes collaborative learning among the students and attempts to induce 'flow' while students are practising Math problems

PixelMath offers the following features for students:

- Serve questions to students at the right difficulty level for them using IRT-based-algorithm.
- Offer quick automated feedback to students on how they are doing individually
- Offer automated group feedback on how they are doing as a team
- Levelling up as students progress in the game
- Leader-board which awards consistent practice
- Peer Motivation to practice harder through an activity feed
- Unlock new chapters and problems as they solve problems
- Level-wise breakdown of each Math topic
- Access to student analytics.
- Identifying key areas which needs troubleshooting

Students using PixelMath spend at least 4 times more time practising and solving Math problems.
