UK has always depended on medical staff from overseas to take care of their shortage in the NHS. Typically is the ex-colonies that provide this shortfall and India with it's large output of qualified medical staff every year, it is undisputedly the largest supplier of doctors to the UK.

This shortage is cyclical in nature and since the last year or so, the need for overseas doctors has been intense. This is the right time for young doctors to make the most of this career opportunity.

Drs Mahadeo and Alka Bhide started PLABMASTER in 1996 and for the next 12 odd years, trained more than 20-25,000 doctors, many of whom are now senior consultants in the NHS and others have returned back to their home land or moved further away to USA, Canada or Australia, New Zealand and so on. What made PLABMASTER was it's "No pass no fee" and "payable when able" offer! It meant young doctors did not have to worry about lodging to training costs and simply focussed on preparing for the exams and jobs beyond!-
