We have formula-typing so you see your whole calculation and you can even edit stuff from earlier or undo/redo.
There is also a nice Apple Watch app and a Today widget that helps with quick calculations. And you can even send your calculation to the main app from your Apple Watch or the Today widget.
Stuff like Workspaces, Unit conversion and colors are available with Plain Calc Pro which is also amazing for the price.
