Planet A

The planet A® Forum will be held from June 27 to June 28, 2019, at the heart of the Champagne region, in Châlons-en-Champagne (France).

A few words about the planet A® Forum:

The planet A® forum places agriculture at the heart of issues facing mankind, be they relating to demography, environment, energy, social, economy or geopolitics. After the success of its first edition, the 2nd edition of the planet A® forum will continue the debates initiated in 2018 and focus on the subject of soils, through the theme: Earth, waste, planet: Soil quality for the health of living things.

This year’s edition of the planet A® Forum will gather several hundred guests (leaders from local communities, institutions, government policy makers, businesses and experts). They will meet in a unique way reflections, disciplines, challenges and solutions, under different prisms and perspectives: agricultural, geopolitical and political, social and societal, environmental, economic, health, use… aspects.

Proposals delivered through the debates and workshops will be gathered in an ‘Open Paper’ to feed concrete reflections at the highest level during the major international meetings in 2019 and 2020.

The Planet A® International Agriculture Forum is apolitical and has been developed in partnership with the Jean Jaurès Foundation, Fondapol and other global think tanks. It is organized under the High Patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
