How does PLATE work?
- LOCATION-BASED: The app uses your location to show the bar and restaurant deals happening around you! It’ll show you the closest deal first and then go down the list as they get further away.
- REAL-TIME: The deals on PLATE are ALWAYS CHANGING. Every deal you see is happening at that moment and will remain visible until it expires.
When you open PLATE, you’ll see 3 categories at the top: FOOD, BOTH, and DRINK. These tabs are meant to help you find exactly what you’re looking for!
- The deals are divided into blocks. They consist of: a picture of the deal, the bar/restaurant’s name and logo and the timeframe in which the special is running. Click on the block to see the full description of the deal, including the business’ phone number, a map to their location, and even the ability to request an UBER to their location!!
