App Store Description

PlaylistBattle allows you to create a shared playlist for your party!

Upon startup, you can either choose to host a playlist or to join a nearby playlist.

When you select «Host Playlist», you're prompted for a playlist name that your friends will see when they ask to join. If you don't enter a playlist name, your device's name will be used.
Optionally, you can set a password for a playlist to restrict the access. This is recommended if you're in a place where other people are using the app.

For the time being up to 8 devices can join a session (including the playlist-host)

If you select «Join», you'll see a list of nearby playlists.Select one to join it.

After you selected one of these options, you can start adding songs to your playlist by tapping on the button in the upper right corner.
You can only add songs that are physically present on your device. Songs stored in the cloud can't be played for the time being.

Songs that are added by a joined device will be transmitted to the host-device. This can take a while, so be patient.
Also, make sure you have enough space on your host-device to store the songs that are added from joined devices.
Once a song was played, it will be deleted from your device to free up disk space.

Your playlist might be interrupted when the host-device receives a phone-call or a text message. It is recommended to use a device that doesn't receive calls (like an iPod) so your music doesn't get interrupted.
