What is it about?

PoliceUS is THE app here to usher in the next generation of police-citizen interaction. Born from a simple idea to use user-reported data to quickly catch and remove “bad apples”, we’re now at the forefront of stopping police brutality and corruption in the United States, and it’s all thanks to you. In just 30 seconds you’ll be able to document and submit information about your interaction with an officer. This information can be good or bad, and will be used to not only analyze interaction quality of the specific officer and their agency over time, but will also be visible to other users of the app at all times. This ensures no reported interaction goes unnoticed, good OR bad. Transparency demands action, and we believe it is this level of transparency that will force agencies to not only handle their “bad apples” but to also REWARD their best officers for the good work they do each and every day. Let us be very clear: We are NOT an application to be used for attacking the men and women in blue, we are NOT an application to be used for doxing officers, and we are NOT an application that is politically motivated or driven. We’re a 100% independent group dedicated to using the information you provide in your interactions to stop corruption, racism, and police brutality before it even happens, and by you joining our cause we’re able to be one step closer to achieving our mission.
