App Store Description

The Polyglots apps are part of the Early Learning Languages Australia (ELLA) program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment and managed by Education Services Australia. They are a series of engaging, play-based language learning apps that encourage children in the early years of schooling to explore another language and culture

Schools set the apps to one language from a choice of Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Modern Greek, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

App 11: The Polyglots at the Concert is the final of four new apps designed for primary school students in years 1–2. It is set in an Art Deco-style concert venue where the Polyglots are involved in various performances. Students will learn the vocabulary for the days of the week and o'clock times with some extension to half-past times. They will also learn the questions such as 'What time?', 'What day?', 'What's the time?' and 'Where?'
