App Store Description

PONToon Community is a mapping app which allows community groups and institutions to share pins in their local areas with their members.
By signing up for a Training Centre account at PONToonApps.com you can use the application to create a set of pins of interesting places with your members. 
Or as a member of a Community Group you can sign up and view any pins your Training Centre has shared with you. 
 
As a Training Centre you can:
•Create pins of local points of interest
•Add your members via email to give them access to your maps
•Edit and update pins using a simple touch interface
•Add direct links to the pins including phone numbers, emails and websites. 

As a User you can:
•See pins of the Training Centres you are subscribed to
•Join any number of Training Centres
•Filter your map by Category or by Training Centre
 
This app was developed for the PONToon Project. 
 
Project PONToon, Partnership Opportunities using New Technologies fostering sOcial and ecOnomic inclusioN 2017-2021, is a 5.8 million euro digital upskilling collaboration between participants in Southern England and Northern France. The project is 69% funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Interreg France (Channel) England programme and is delivered by 11 partners, The University of Portsmouth (lead), Amiens Métropole, Aspex, ADICE, Digital Peninsula Network, Devon Mind, Eastleigh Borough Council, GIP-FCIP de l'académie de Caen, MEFP, TRAJECTIO and WSX Enterprise.
